Experience of the 1.5-litre petrol in other cars suggests the same of that model, too. We drove the 35 TDI diesel with the automatic gearbox and found it impressively smooth and powerful enough for relaxed long-distance cruising, where it scored commendably close to the official fuel consumption figures. The 1.5-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesels at the core of the A3 Sportback range both deliver 150 horsepower and offer a good balance of performance, economy and refinement. At least the heating controls retain proper switches and buttons. Audi’s mission to strip as many buttons out of the interior as possible means the interior looks good, but the replacement of basic controls like a volume knob with an overly sensitive touch pad can frustrate. Additional functionality, including driver modes and a fancier Virtual Cockpit display, feature as you progress up the range but there’s an impressive amount of tech on all models. The operating system behind this is 10 times faster than that of the previous car and powers built-in and fully connected navigation system as standard, though you can plug your phone in and use your apps if you prefer. Conventional instruments have been replaced by a 10.25-inch ‘Virtual Cockpit’ display behind the wheel while a fully integrated 10.1-inch touch-screen in the centre of the dash is your main point of interaction with the car’s systems. Mercedes and BMW are also at the top of their game here, but Audi knows what its customers like and the A3 Sportback will score well for showroom appeal for its interior alone. Overall, though, the A3 Sportback is dressed to impress and the cabin ticks all the style and tech boxes you could hope for, the dramatic angles, quality materials and smart integration of touch-operated controls meaning it feels properly premium. It’s better when the speeds rise and the A3 Sportback is impressively refined on the motorway, so if this is where you do most of your driving you’ll be in a happier place.Īudi interiors are rightly celebrated for looking good and being well put together, making that niggle we experienced all the more disappointing. But the ride quality on the bigger 18-inch wheels of our test car had an unpleasantly harsh edge on bumpier roads, especially at town speeds over the kind of potholes, rough surfaces and speed bumps and like you’ll encounter in urban driving. This gives the A3 Sportback a very planted and sporty feel, which is satisfying for the driver. Ride comfort will depend very much on which trim you opt for, given the less powerful engines and cheaper versions have a more basic rear suspension set-up and you only get the more sophisticated chassis on cars with more than 150 horsepower. Space in the back is average for the class, though a little dark and claustrophobic with the black trim of our test car. That’s OK, though, because the A3 was already a comfortable car with a great driving position, plenty of adjustment to accommodate drivers of different shapes and sizes and a suitably premium feel. The new A3 Sportback is fractionally longer, wider and lower than its predecessor to the benefit of styling but the gains inside are down to the odd millimetre here and there so not really of any consequence. Audi residual values are typically stronger, though, which should count in the A3 Sportback’s favour when crunching finance options against rivals. CO2 emissions and fuel consumption are all pretty much comparable too, meaning running costs are going to be close. It’s on a par with the Mercedes and BMW options when you compare equivalent models with 2.0-litre diesel motors and automatic gearboxes like our test car. The A3 35 TDI S line we tested is a popular trim level and, at list price, the Audi costs a little more than an equivalent Golf with the same engine and gearbox. But the core 35 TFSI petrol and 35 TDI diesel will be at the heart of the range and offer a solid basis for comparison with direct rivals, including the Volkswagen Golf (with which the A3 shares its foundations, engines and tech) and premium alternatives like the Mercedes-Benz A-Class and BMW 1 Series. More engines will be joining the A3 Sportback range in due course, including hybrids at one end and more performance-oriented versions like the new S3 at the other.

Balthesar, one of the Three Gurus from "Chrono Trigger" has built a huge time fortress called Chronopolis in the Lavos-less future, where he conducts weird experiments and fights against mysterious forces within the timeline. now basically are "Time Squad" only without the gay robot. The main problem of "Crimson Echoes" seems to be a constant battle to keep the timeline intact. But is their best good enough? We're about to find out. Well, Kajar Labs still did the best job they ever could, we have to remember that. Honestly, Kato doesn't need any help, he needs a kick in the ass. If only Misato Kato wasn't in such a pretentious mood when it came to "Cross" then maybe this game could go ahead and be something of its own instead of doing the plot-building work he refused to. Honestly this comes up in the storyline too, which somewhat of a disjointed adventure because the story constantly has to go out of its way to explain one of "Chrono Cross"'s many mysteries. But making an original experience was never their aim. That's not to say they neglected the gameplay, they did an excellent job creating a full-length RPG full of dungeons and bosses. They wanted to make an extremely elaborate platform by which to tell the story of what happened between "Trigger" and "Cross". The ultimate goal of Kajar Labs was never to make a new game, even though they called this game a "sequel". You can't really appreciate this game on its own without having played and loved "Chrono Trigger", that much should be clear almost immediately. A very long expansion pack with a story the length of a sequel, but an expansion pack still. I'd say "Crimson Echoes" is less a sequel than an expansion pack. So as a sequel, it has to suffer in the shadow of "Chrono Trigger 1".mostly because its creators simply lacked the technical skills and possibly the ambition to make an experience that could properly be called its own game. All the best features of "Crimson Echoes" are not the work of Kajar Labs, but instead Square Enix's original Dream Team. In Part 1 I ultimately decided that the game could not develop an identity of its own distinguishable from the 1995 RPG classic it was romhacked from. Guess what? I beat it! Yay! So now we can conclude this epic two-part review of "Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes", the only RPG so hot that playing it could potentially make its creators liable for tens of thousands of dollars in copyright damages. In the November 13th Scorpio Moon we also find that – in addition to Uranus, exactly opposite the Sun and Moon – Mars is powerfully configured as well, in a conjunction with the Sun and Moon, a mere 1 ½ degrees away. We will want to remember, as we do, how the Grateful Dead lyric goes: that “Once in a while we can get shown the light/ In the strangest of places if we look at it right.” What we might want to do with these powerful outer planet energies as they show up in our own lives, in order to make the most of them, might be to try to get to the painful lesson of our own inner chaos by looking on the bright side for the nugget of wisdom contained therein. Certainly it was a surprise attack that touched off this most recent global crisis. With Uranus, featured in the mid-September New Moon as well as this most recent one, and even more powerfully highlighted in the November 13th Scorpio New Moon, we also can see surprise events and unexpected revelations, as well as the Trickster’s love of confounding norms and standing every logical assertion on its head. In this current October configuration, with Mars thrown into this mix of archetypal energies, we can see the question of right action regarding the military ( Mars) coming forward when is it right to kill in response to killing? Or is it ever… It is easy to see that the Haumea- Pluto square, active since last February, is being acted out in spades in the political machinations within this country, where there is lately an enormous premium placed on telling the truth. Just like Eris, feminine warrior for soul intention, Haumea goes to depth with the psyche, representing profound connection to Nature, and to a species of natural law, of right action, right relationship, and truth-telling. The Sun and Moon were perfectly aligned with Uranus, in an inconjunct, or quincunx, aspect – while Mars and the new Nature planet Haumea in close conjunction were trine Saturn and square Pluto. The remaining planetary configurations within this New Moon eclipse are also telling. And this is the message of hope that we all must feel and that truly moves us as we pursue this mystical study of astrology, to evolve and heal within ourselves and, by so doing, help to heal the world. One telling astrological aspect that was revealed in the October 14th New Moon and solar eclipse that set the stage for the recent two weeks that followed, and also for the first two weeks of the November month, was that in the New Moon, we could see Eris and Chiron in a 7-degree conjunction, and find the Eris/ Chiron midpoint at 21:08 Aries in exact opposition to the eclipse degree of Sun and Moon, to a fraction of a minute of a degree! This brings up the pain of inner wounding, ours, individually, and that of the world, and yet also holds out the optimistic vision that by dint of concerted action, we can all yet heal or at least somewhat move the needle in a positive direction during our lifetimes. I believe too that there is inner wounding within each of us personally that linger, un-remarked and in many cases largely unknown, that can continue to trip us up even as we begin to recognize them. It really does seem that there are few good options no matter which direction we turn horrible what happened on October 7th in southern Israel, horrible what is happening right now in Gaza and the West Bank, and in what continues every day in Ukraine, and even regarding political realities here in the U.S. This is a bit of a fractured month – as also the world headlines are affirming. We can spell out whether the gutter is present in it’s classic and overlay variations. The user agent defines that and gives us no control over it. Whether a browser uses a classic or overlay scrollbar is totally up to the UA itself. Not the indicator itself, but the container that holds it. And note that the existence of overflow-x means we have horizontal scrolling in addition to vertical scrolling. Besides sitting flush to the right of the browser, we will see scrollbars on HTML elements where content overflows the element and the overflow property (or overflow-x and overflow-y) are set to the scroll value. While we’re at it, a scrollbars can pop up in other places. In other words, unlike classic scrollbars that take up physical real estate on the screen, overlay scrollbars sit on top of the screen content. We call those overlay scrollbars and they are either partially or fully transparent while sitting on top of the page content. Lately, though, scrollbar appearances have trended toward something much more minimal. The indicator sits inside of the gutter and the gutter takes up physical real estate on the screen when it’s displayed. These are referred to as classic scrollbars. Those have traditionally been a visual container with a sliding indicator. So we’re all on the same page, a scrollbar is that thing typically on the side of the browser (formally referred to as the “user-agent” - or UA - in the spec) that indicates your scroll position relative to the total available space on the webpage. There is a consistent experience for users whether they have “overlay” scrollbars or not.Content doesn’t reflow depending on if there is a scrollbar or not.The beauty of this is that now we can make sure: O uso da propriedade overflow com valor diferente de visible (seu valor padro), criar um novo contexto de formatao de bloco (en-US). The spec describes it as “reserving space for the scrollbar”. A propriedade overflow especifica quando o contedo de um elemento de nvel de bloco deve ser cortado, exibido com barras de rolagem ou se transborda do elemento. The scrollbar-gutter property in CSS provides flexibility to determine how the space the browser uses to display a scrollbar that interacts with the content on the screen. In written testimony, Swarbrick said Congress could consider a “more radical approach” and codify a system in which athletes could negotiate with conferences over terms and conditions of athletic participation. The Big Ten signed media rights deals last year that will pay the conference more than $7 billion over the next seven years. Petitti, who became Big Ten commissioner earlier this year after a long career as a television and Major League Baseball executive, said his schools are open to providing more benefits directly to athletes. “People are discussing closing the door on employee status without paying the athletes fairly,” Huma said. The NCAA men’s Division I basketball tournament accounts for most of the association’s annual revenue, which surpassed $1 billion last year, and Power Five conferences have multibillion-dollar television contracts worth billions with most of the value driven by football. Huma, who has been at the forefront of the push for college athletes to receive more benefits and protections, conceded that only major college football and basketball players should be considered for employment status. The NCAA is comprised of more 1,100 schools, serving hundreds of thousands of athletes. An antitrust case could force schools and conferences that compete at the highest levels of the NCAA into professional sports-style revenue sharing of billions in media rights dollars with football and basketball players.
